Hey everyone,
I’m doing great here and having a lot of fun, I’m probably in the best shape of my life walking up and down hill 10 to 15 times a day, if not more. I’ve never actually counted ha-ha. But things are going great in the work. My comp and I are having a lot of success and also a lot of fun ha-ha. He is one of the funniest people I know which is saying something cause I know some pretty funny people, (myself being number one of course).
But this weekend we are going to have a 2 day intercambio cause my comp will be going to the temple with a family that he baptized last year, and I will be baptizing Veronica and her two sons. It’s going to be a big weekend for the both of us. And we´re both very excited.
That’s really it for this week everyone, hope you all have a great week.

Email Letter - February 19, 2014
Hey everyone.
Not a lot big has happened this last week. You know just the
spirit of the lord touching the hearts of men. ;) Ha-ha. No but seriously this
week has been really good. My new comp is named Elder Agramonte. Getting a new
comp has been a really good experience for me, and I’ve grown a lot in this
last week.
Our investigators are doing really well and we have a lady
that we´re going to baptize not this Saturday but the next. She and her kids
are really excited and can’t wait. I honesty wish I had a picture of this lady
from when we first started teaching her to compare to how she looks right now. Cause
seriously she doesn’t even look like the same person. It’s a truly amazing experience
to how the blessing of the gospel truly changes lives.
Well that’s it for this week everyone. I love and miss you
all.

Email Letter and Pictures - Febuary 12, 2014
Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been awhile since my last group email, I’ve just been really busy and not had a lot of time to write. But I’m doing great, I’m still in San Fran. And I had my first baptism this last weekend.
We had been teaching this part member family, where the husband was a less active and the wife and kids were non members, but we got them married legally this last Friday, and on Saturday the wife and oldest son were baptized, and they both asked me to perform the ordinance, I was really nervous but everything went smoothly.
Other really big news is that the branch that I am serving in that in November only had 20 people coming to church every Sunday is now big enough to become a ward. This will officially happen sometime in the next two months or so. This is really big for the branch as you can imagine. Needless to say the members are ecstatic and the missionaries are able now to work harder than ever with the now significant help of the members.
Today I got my new comp. He is a native Dominican that is a little shorter then my shoulder and is rather round. Ha-ha. But I am very excited to get to know him and work with him. There is a pretty good chance that I will kill him as well, but we´ll see.
Well that’s it for this week, I love you all and you’re always in my prayers.

Hey everybody,
I’m having a great time in San Fran. The last week has been great and also a little crazy. I think I’m going to start with the crazy. Last Thursday there was a "Welga" in San Fran, that’s when all the local stores close down and go on strike cause they don’t want to pay taxes or something like that, but anyways basically the whole city is closed for a day or so. Because of that people go a little crazy and some people use this as an excuse to riot and a bunch of "Tigures" (a Dominican word) there’s no word for it in English but basically just bad people ride there motorcycles up and down the main rode shooting there guns at whoever they see and attacking people, so really needless to say we didn’t go out that day. Luckily it wasn’t to bad and it only lasted 1 day and we were able to go out the next day and be ok.
The great part of this week is that we have 6 people with really firm baptismal dates. The first is a family that we’ve been working with a lot, the are planning to get married on February 7th and the baptized on the 8th, which happens to be elder Grover's last weekend so he’s pretty happy to be going out with a bang. And the other is this lady and her kids, she is a super awesome lady and we really should’ve had a date with her before this week cause she is progressing like crazy. Her baptism is set for the first of March so I’m super excited and Elder Grover is disappointed that he wont be here for it. I’m going to dunk her so hard ha-ha. Cant wait, this area is exploding with amazing investigators. Well that’s it for this week I love you all and ill write again next week.

Hey everybody! I’m having a blast right now. We had transfers last
week but because I’m being trained nothing really changed for me, really
just a few of the missionaries in my zone but that’s not a big deal
cause I don’t see them a ton. Last week during transfers everyone that
didn’t get transferred got together and we played volleyball at one of
the churches, which was a ton of fun. Afterwards on the way home a
couple of guys tried to mug us but it was really just a sad attempt
because they were super drunk. Its actually really funny cause after
they realized that we weren’t going to back down and give them our stuff
they tried to play it off like a joke, poor guys. Ha-ha.
Anyways, right now we´re working with a lot of families and they’re all doing really well and making a lot of progress. One family in particular is doing amazing and our goal is to try and get them baptized before Elder Grove goes home, so we´re going to be focusing on them a lot. Hopefully everything will come together.
Well I love you all and I pray for you always.

Hey everybody,
I’m going great here in the DR. This is probably one of my most favorite places on earth! I love it here! We are making great progress with our investigators. The people here are so nice it's unreal.
Elder Grover and I are getting along great and our goal is to have me ready to train by the end of the next 2 transfers. It won’t be easy but it’s possible.
Well anyways I don’t have a lot of time this week but I'll be sure to write more next week. I love you all.
